The 19th African American Read-In

The AKA Foundation of Central Pennsylvania’s, in partnership with the Epsilon Sigma Omega Chapter, 19th Annual African American Read-In on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 10am – 12:30pm at Scott Elementary School, 1900 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA! Join us for a fun day of reading, music, guest speakers, giveaways and more!

This year’s theme is “Discovering our Hidden Figures” and will feature African-American writers and innovators who are making a difference in the world. We will have special guest readers, including Floyd Stokes aka “Super Reader” and special presentations by Jonathan “Jon Jon the DJ” Freeman, author of “The Incredible DJ Willie Lee Beats Bullying”, and Mark “DJ Scientific” Branch, a NASA Rocket Scientist!
