Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is committed to the preservation and continued financial support of one of this nation’s most valuable resources — Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). To this end, the sorority will pay particular attention to these institutions of higher education during this special week which has been designated to honor and recognize HBCUs by making financial contributions and highlighting significant contributions of HBCU alumni.
